In 1950, Roger Demetz created the first optical diving mask. A technological feat, but above all a selfless act, intended for his son who wanted to take part in a sporting activity despite his poor eyesight. Throughout his life, the creator of Demetz would devote his energy to freeing sportspeople from the constraints of sight, enabling those who were destined to remain on the sidelines to break records. 70 years and dozens of patents later, Demetz still cultivates the pioneering and altruistic spirit of its creator.
